This program includes 5 topics:

1- Introduction to Natural Health Products and definitions

This topic is designed to orient students to the Natural Health Products, legislations and guidelines within the corporate and regulatory context from Canadian perspectives. 

2- Natural Health Products Legislations in Canada including research and reporting of safety issues

This topic is designed to provide a framework for understanding the standards and regulations related to the NAtural Health Products cosmetics and registration. 

3- Good Manufacturing Practices for Natural Health Products

This topic will discuss the importance of the ICH-GMP regarding the international guidelines applied to NHPs.

4- Classification of NHPs

This topic will address the classification approach that applies to a broad range of products at the NHP-drug interface.

5- NHP Registration 

 This topic will cover all of the steps involved in the registration of cosmetics in Canada.
